Are you an expert in managing Ramp operations with a team of over 100 employees? We are looking for a dynamic and efficiency-driven leader to join our team in Tokyo, overseeing operations at both Narita (NRT) and Haneda (HND) airports.
In this role, you will lead and structure the Ramp operations, drive action plans and innovative training initiatives, and support documentation and communication with stakeholders.
We need someone who is energetic, culturally sensitive, and proficient in English (Japanese is a plus)
Key responsibilities include building a foundation for growth, driving KPI-focused action plans, and developing local Ramp Managers into stronger leaders. If you're ready to make an impact and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Background:
Expert in management of Ramp operations of +100 employees
Efficiency driven, open mindset required
Understands how electronic, flexible on the day allocation works
Energetic, yet open to the sensitivity of a new culture
Must speak good English. Japanese a benefit but not essential.
Key roles:
Lead, structure and improve the Ramp operations in the 2 Tokyo Airports NRT & HND.
Build the foundation for further growth.
Drive Action plans with the respective Ramp Managers in NRT/HND under guidance of the respective Station Managers.
Drive innovative training and upskilling initiatives.
KPI driven mindset required.
Support Station Managers and Ramp Managers with documentation, actions plans for Country Management, Shareholders and customers.
Communicate to customers on Ramp items.
Develop and guide the local Ramp Managers into stronger leaders with specific, developed guidance plans.
Based in NRT where the operation is largest.
Advanced skill with Excel and PowerPoint.
